- I bought new comics today, including #2 of Milo V's Rest, and I swear, the art still terrifies me. It's kind of making it difficult for me to assess whether it's actually any good.

- There's going to be a live-action TV show based on the comic Powers! This really excites me, even though I'm concerned they won't do it justice. Powers was the series that got me into comics, and I always wondered if they'd adapt it. If they did it right, it could be an awesome dark Justice League/Heroes fusion. Unh, I'm going to be all over this when it comes out.

- This. (The first set of pictures in the post.) This is just the best Heroes photoshoot ever. I just. *flails* By the way, this one is my favourite. What I'd do for a hi res, non-watermarked set.

- I really want to get volume one of the Middleman graphic novels, but look how much it's selling for. D:

- I have updated my profile, replete with me a picture of me sitting upside down in a chair reading a book on the Nazis. Yeah, I don't know.

- I have lots more reading to do for my history lesson tomorrow, and I don't wanna. :(

Today has been horrible. I got a sporadic four hours of sleep between six and eleven this morning (AND I HAD THE DAY OFF. I COULD HAVE SLEPT IN FOR EVER AND EVER. RAGE.), had spent all day feeling distinctly low on blood sugar, have had the dogs acting like absolute little devils and have got yet another demand from my dermatologist for money that has already been paid by my health insurance. I'm also trying to get a refund on horribly made coat I bought online and I'm feeling that I'm going to have absolutely no joy with them.

Urgh. And, per usual, I've got homework to do. I'm going to go write something else for the porn meme.

I finally got around to watching Top Gun to see the Pasdar's tiny role as the subtext, attitude heavy Chipper. I've had the DVD hanging around for weeks, and honestly I barely paid any attention to the plot(!), but man, Adrian looked like he constantly wanted to have sex with whoever was closest. I may have, um, capped all of his scenes, but these are the most *flail* inducing: ( So, it's been a while since I've posted pictures of my TV boyfriend. )

Lastly:
Give me a character from any fandom you know I am into and I will tell you:

I'm in the middle of a painfully botched Ubuntu upgrade. I've spent the last six hours trying to get it to boot, but apparently my problem is one that a lot of people have come up against - and there's no known solution. I've pretty much had to accept that I'm going to lose my Virtual Windows XP machine and all my database practice work.

ANYWAY, you're not here for that, you're here the sweaty man things. ( Oh yes. Spoilers for Heroes 3x10 )

So, I have to do database coursework this year for my ICT A Level, and my dad (who works at a bank) asked the IT department if there's anything I could do for them. Apparently there is, but it means that I'm going to have to talk to the head of the department on the phone. D: Shit like that makes me way nervous.

I'm also waaay bored, and even though I should be writing a long due history essay (seriously, I used to be able to balance schoolwork with my writing and internetting and etcetera, but that is no longer so), what I'm actually doing is browsing ugly_crap and looking at creepy macros and listening to my iPod. I AM SO AWESOME.

Last thing: this interview with The Pasdar is painfully adorable, and Milo is a seventeen year old girl, trufax (burning music for his boyfriend ♥).

My last day of freedom - until Wednesday, which I have off at the moment. And I only ten hours of lessons a week, in three subjects, so I can't really complain - but I will anyway.

This is half stolen from giventofly37 and half just me wanting to show off my mad photoshop skillz, so ( I'll show you my desktop, you show me yours. )

I'm six episodes into my Heroes rewatch now, and I feel compelled to point out that I LOVE HIRO. I'd forgotten just how adorable he was. ♥ And Noah, and Nathan, and Claire! ♥ ♥ I doubt I'll get through all the episodes before S3, but it's fun to try!

Oh, and I tried to see Wall-E yesterday, but the cinema was closed for the UK premiere of Righteous Kill. D: I want my little robot film!
