1) I love due South. I love the fandom (though I've really been actively involved because it's basically slash only and I'm not a big slasher). But this? Is the most ridiculous thing I have ever seen. Whether you ship the hot Mountie with the suave Italian or the blond guy with experimental hair is of absolutely no consequence. It's not an issue that requires tact. IT DOESN'T MATTER. NO ONE CARES. The earnestness of that whole discussion is making me *boggle*

3) Oh God. Ohhh God, I'm watching BSG right now, and one of the scenes almostkindamaybe made me ship Apollo/Adama. :O AHHH, GOD GET IT OUT OF MY HEAD. NOW, PLEASE.

Things that I have learnt from shopping in HMV:
1)The new cover for He's Just Not That Into You is really shit. It's not really obvious when looking at the picture online, but the images are all pixelly and you have to wonder who the hell they employ to do something that should be relatively easy.

2)HMV are selling Stargate SG-1 S10 for sixty fucking pounds, and the blurb on the back says that Daniel heads the team in the final season. Um, were we watching the same show, UK Stargate boxset designers?

3)I don't look old enough to buy a certificate eighteen boxset. I got freaking carded when trying to buy The Shield - it was a good thing I had my student card on me because I was buying it as a present for my mum's birthday on Saturday, and I would have been so pissed if I hadn't been able to get it.

I also got my mum an epic birthday cake - there was one cake that was called 'large' and then this one, which should have been called GINORMOUS. :D
