I love the fandom (though I've really been actively involved because it's basically slash only and I'm not a big slasher). But this? Is the most ridiculous thing I have ever seen. Whether you ship the hot Mountie with the suave Italian or the blond guy with experimental hair is of absolutely no consequence. It's not an issue that requires tact. IT DOESN'T MATTER. NO ONE CARES. The earnestness of that whole discussion is making me *boggle*
