things which have happened:

- Half term! I now have nine days to make a good start on my Nanovel (and do homework or something). I might post little snippets here of what I write. Also! I have the same name on the Nano site, so add me if you want to.

- I have found out that it is weird when I'm the least awkward person in the room. My friend from my history class couldn't get her flash drive to work, and once I talked her into getting the IT teacher to help, I had to do all the talking and then plug her flash drive and find it on the desktop. It's like, shit, look at you being all normal and confident. :D

- I'm upgrading my system to Ubuntu 8.10, but it's taking forever. I probably shouldn't have my browser open right now, but I waited for about an hour, and once I got angry at Super Mario Bros on my DS, I was bored.

- Guys. My Macbook is dead. The hard disk is fried and I've lost loads of pictures, graphics (I had half made fanmix covers that I was really happy with), fonts, brushes etc.. So. Spam with your fandomy pictures. Heroes, Stargate(s), due South especially. I want your pictures.

- I'm listening to a horror audio fiction podcast right now, and ( sliiiightly tmi. )

- Oh, and hey, what's everyone doing for Halloween? Me, I'm going to waiting for Ubuntu to upgrade, and hopefully watch a load of horror movies.

I'm in the middle of a painfully botched Ubuntu upgrade. I've spent the last six hours trying to get it to boot, but apparently my problem is one that a lot of people have come up against - and there's no known solution. I've pretty much had to accept that I'm going to lose my Virtual Windows XP machine and all my database practice work.

ANYWAY, you're not here for that, you're here the sweaty man things. ( Oh yes. Spoilers for Heroes 3x10 )
