For the last two years, I've tried to do the 50 book challenge. In 2008 I got to 27, but 19 were graphic novels, so.

- Do you know what's cooler than a werewolf wearing a hat and sunglasses, and riding a motorcycle? Not much, that's what.

- I have watched a ton a TV in the past couple of days:

• ( The Office US 5x23 )


• The Unusuals: I'm really starting to get into this show - they've let up on the whole omg we're so quirky thing (which is good because all I could think was due South did allll of this back in '94). I'm also starting to ship Casey/Davis, which pretty much goes against the fledgling fandom.


• Better Off Ted: I fucking love this show so much. So much. Everyone is perfect. I need to make/find icons.


• Southland: is trying waaay too hard to be ~*gritty*~ and ~*edgy*~. Might be edgier if NBC didn't bleep the swear words. I do love me some Michael Cudlitz, though.


• Reno 911: I've just started watching this on E4, and I'm enjoying the fuck out of it. Is it bad that I find Thomas Lennon kind of cute in it? Between him and Ryan in The Office, I think I'm getting a thing for guys with badly bleached blond hair. I also just bought a pair of aviator sunglasses online. I think I'm starting to overdose on cop shows.

- Annnd, that's all, folks. I'm going to watch Lie to Me and try to work through some writer's block.

- New banner! (boombangbing!). Every time I scroll up-- *instant orgasm* :D

- So how many of you guys are getting accounts at Dreamwidth and/or fleeing Livejournal? I've validated my OpenID email address, so I'll get a public beta code on the 30th, but... I doubt I'll really use it all that much. People always say new LJ clones are going to be omg!so much better, and most of the time they don't seem to catch on to any great degree. Also, I have a permanent account here, so I've got to get my money's worth out of it. :D

- I kind of want to rename my fic journal again (misfit_fandoms in case you don't know). I renamed it a couple of years ago from the ridiculous name it used to have, and now this one annoys me too. I don't know what I'd rename it, though.

- Today is going to be a day of watching loads of TV shows and trying to find one that will replace the gaping hole in my life that a summer without Heroes will cause. :D

I am officially obsessed with picspammy. This scene, though, totally deserved it. There aren't many four minute scenes that start by making me feel anxious, then incredibly sick, and finish off with making me want to cry. If you don't watch this show, you should, is all I'm saying.
