They are totally adorable, but then I'm always a sucker for floppy ears - my dog's ear were folded down until she was about seven months old. And she was a little bit cross-eyed.
And getting a job so as to be able to support your cats seems like a good motivator to me.
Also? FUCKING FAKED OUT. GODDAMN.

I like floppy ears as well. My dog is currently the only animal we have with floppy ears and I love fiddling with them. They're all nice and soft. And I didn't realize until just lately that the Scottish Fold breed plays into my obsession of all things Scottish. I guess even when I was younger I had a thing for it. Huh.
Also? FUCKING FAKED OUT. GODDAMN.
I know right? It was a good episode so I'm not going to blow up a building but DAMN YOU! YOU CAN'T LEAVE ME WITH THAT AWESOME CLOSING SHOT OF NATHAN AND CLAIRE AND THEN GIVE ME NOTHING AFTER TWO FUCKING WEEKS. SONOFABITCH

I kind of thought they would, since they always seem to skip an episode for the really interesting cliffhangers, but DAMMIT, after two weeks? I think me and the show need to have that talk now. And if it hadn't been for DAPHNEWTF, then this episode would have been pretty much perfect, even with the lack of Nathan and Claire.

COULDN'T YOU HAVE WARNED ME THEN? Damn. Be a friend.
Stupid goddamn Heroes. We have a love/hate relationship at this point. Two weeks is too fucking long. And if they had actually aired this weeks episode last week like they should have then we would be basking in Nathan/Claire interaction. SO DAMN YOU, NBC! You and your fucking scheduling.
And if it hadn't been for DAPHNEWTF, then this episode would have been pretty much perfect
Damn. Why did Daphne have to die? I hope Tracey isn't dead. I'm not attached to her character but I don't want two female characters to die in the same episode. If Tracey bites it then that pretty much leaves Claire and Angela with the occasional appearance from Sandra.

I DIDN'T WANT TO BRING YOU DOWN.
It really really sucks how the show treat their female characters - pretty much only Daphne and Monica were the only ones who weren't one extreme or the other and were actually relatable (I love Claire, but goddamn woman, stop whining) , and if they bring Monica back just to kill her, I will fucking cry. I'm pretty sure Tracy isn't dead though - they said one of the deaths was a fake out, and Larter's said she's definitely staying in the show. They could just bring in Barbara instead, but I'm really hoping they won't, that would kind of suck.

Fine. It's not like you could have won anyways. I would have found a way to bitch. If you would have said something, I would call you cruel for taking me away from my sweet, sweet denial land.
They could just bring in Barbara instead, but I'm really hoping they won't, that would kind of suck.
If they give Ali another character then it's going to turn into a running joke. Because seriously how many characters can one actor play on a show? Or does Niki's mom have the biggest womb ever and popped out a dozen blonde babies?
And I don't usually get into feminist issues because they usually fly right over my head but damn if Heroes doesn't suck ass. I love Claire more for what she use to be then what she is now. And Angela is Angela. 'Nuff said but she isn't exactly someone you can connect to. And I either never really connected to the other female characters or they are currently deader than dead. Surely, humans of the XX variety are not that alien. We're people too.

This is what I was trying to avoid.
I used to mostly ignore feminist issues in fandom too, but recently it's becoming really obvious in Heroes. All the women seem to be weak and unstable or a bitch with or without a heart of gold. Or, you know, they're just poorly developed bit characters. I love all the men, obviously, but I wish it wasn't always so male-driven. It's a problem with a lot of shows though, people can't seem to write female characters and stick with tired clichés.
Uh, how do I get down from this soapbox?
