Today is awesome, that's all there is to it.
+ For anyone who hasn't seen it yet (for shame): Heroes first superbowl commercial and their second one. Greg/Jack/Microphone is now forever my OT3. ♥ Also, Hiro's little dance! ♥♥! (Also, I wonder if Hiro stopping time is an indication that he'll get his powers back - I thought they'd got rid of his powers to level the playing field, no pun intended, but who knows.)
+ This shit is bananas. I got about three hours sleep last night because I was alternately writing fic, listening to people playing out in the street, and being too excited about the snow to sleep. At 7.30am, half an hour before I was meant to get up, Mum came in and told there was no point in getting up because all of London had ground to a halt. My college isn't even answering its phone - I guess no one managed to make it in.
A bunch of Australian tourists built this dapper snowman in the early hours of the morning. And yes, that is a traffic cone for a hat.
All the local parks are closed, but a bunch of people climbed over the fence to build more snowmen. Turns out it's a lot less fun trying to walk the dogs around the streets, and a lot more slippery.
