I read TTYO!! I thought the series as a whole was very cute, and the last issue wrapped up the emotional issues posed in the first one, in a way, but after the sheer joy and adorable of #5, the pacing just seemed off. I think I need to re-read it as a continuous whole to maybe get what they were trying to do. Like, it was a good issue, but it didn't fit with the others.

Yeah, I think it definitely warrants a re-read - to be honest, after the lag between #5 and #6 and me being away, I kind of didn't completely remember what was going on. And it took me all of five minutes to get through it while in the bath, so it just seemed to end really abruptly (and the cliffhanger, wtf?).

I kind of like how it ended with, "You can read about it...in every other issue of Teen Titans!" in the "Next Week" box.

I think they were going for a theme of, like, living up to the bigger heroes as it was presented in the first two or three issues, but then the gratuitously cute stories took over. Not that I'm complaining.
