I'm going to something almost unprecedented tonight, I'm going to try to cook something. Last time I attempted such a thing, the flat stank of burnt toffee for two days. Because of the high likelihood of my humiliating defeat, I've decided to do this while I'm alone, while there are no witnesses. I'm scared. :S

I need ideas for a disgusting power for a Heroes fic, my muse is failing me right now, any ideas anyone?

Random things: Mars Planets are nice, and Jeffrey Combs on DS9! ♥

Disgusting power? There was that guy in the superhero film the name of which escapes me whose superpower was farting really violently...

Yay for JC on DS9. And indeed in anything else. If they'd only renewed Enterprise for a fifth season...it might actually have been good with him as a regular!

God, JC is so cute on DS9! I just added all the Re-Animator films to my Amazon wishlist in a fit of love for him. To be honest, I really didn't Enterprise at all, but Shran was awesome. *runs off to find Jeffrey icons*

Enterprise was pretty dreadful, lol. I quite liked the last season, though, once they threw out Braga and got Manny Coto in. I loved the Aenar, and Shran's cute May-December romance. ^-^ One of the books focussed quite a lot on that - the one that retcons the appalling series finale, lol. Four person marriages and cute little green babies ftw :) (Though I'm still not sure how bright blue + albino = sprout coloured).

Snap! As soon as I have some spare cash, the Re-Animator DVDs are next on my very long list of things to buy!

Dude, I LOVE food. Sleeping and eating are two of my biggest passions in life. But I have this inability to feed myself because I suck ass at cooking. Like whoa.

Disgusting power? Bodily functions is your ticket. Have something with a guy that can coat his body into a protective, slippery shield of snot/crap/someotherdisgutingbodilyfluid and has projectile vomiting as a weapon or violent exploding pimples. Or, I dunno, the ability to transfer STDs with single touch.

... I'm kind of sad that I thought of all that.

The cooking actually went okay, I'm suspicious that the universe might cave in soon. :/ I made soup, and I left out one of the main ingredients but it still tasted pretty good.

I have no idea who that guy is, and I've never seen a hot pocket in my life, but that was fucking funny. My mum asked me what I was giggling about.

I actually needed two disgusting/embarrassing powers, I'd decided on one and then yours was perfect for the other. I'm afraid the powers are for Simon and Monty, one of which manifests on stage and the other hits when Simon and Micah get in a fight over Molly. My brain is on crack 24/7 now. :D

Hee. Glad you enjoyed the clip. My cousin showed me that clip the other day. Now we're obsessed with randomly shouting out "Hot pocket!" and "Diarrhea pocket!" when we're out and about. We are not ashamed of the weird stares we recieve. We embrace them and let our freak flag fly. We also love talking about 'cuba diving.

BWAHAHAHAHA. Is my power for Simon? I don't think I ever really read of fic that has Simon and Monty in it besides maybe a brief mention but never really as characters with plot.

Ha, 'cuba diving! That clip actually makes me like Open Water, which sucked as much as the trailer.

Oh God, do not listen to them while eating, holy god, especially the first one. I listened to the second one while eating, and I'm rarely put off food, but that got pretty close. They're kinda long too, twenty minutes each I think. They're from this podcast I listen to called Drabblecast, which is basically made up of original crack!fic. It's pretty awesome.

Yours is going to be for Monty, Simon has a power akin to a skunk, which is sure going to fun for Micah. I'm finding it terribly fun abusing these poor characters. ^^
