So, I saw Die Hard 4.0 yesterday which, by the way, was awesome. The first I thought when McClane and Matt met was 'I bet there's slash for this', and lo: hard4brains. :D

On Thursday I'm seeing Harry P at a private screening in Soho (my grandfather used to work in the film industry, so he gets to go to the academy screenings - I'm a little fuzzy on the details), with my dad and grandfather Bill. Now, I haven't seen Bill in about eight years (I have a relatively small family, and relations have almost sucked pretty bad) and he's about to move to South Africa, so this will likely be the last time I ever see him. It's kind of weird to think about it like that. He'll probably want to talk about my writing, and I really hate talking about what I write, since it's mostly fanfiction and how do you go about explaining slash and AUs and kink and whatever else to your 76 year old grandfather? *shudders*

I did get to buy four books yesterday though, which made me happy: The Catcher in the Rye, Ender's Game, Naive. Super and Fear and Loathing in Las Vegas. It should keep me occupied for a little while.

Ahhh, I can smell a roast... Food soon. ^^
