I'm almost totally sure of the fact that I'm not alone in this way of thinking. Almost everything about the site annoys me. It won't accept asterisks or less than/more than symbols as paragraph breaks, so I have to use ugly noughts, or have all the paragraphs squished together. And, it doesn't recognise almost any signs in the summaries! I put 'Ronny Cox (Kinsey)' on my latest summary, and it came out 'Ronny Cox Kinsey', which looks ridiculous. The rules seem to be getting crazier and crazier. You're not allowed to have song lyrics in your fics any more. I know, I know, songfics are almost never good and shouldn't be written, but do we seriously need a rule about it? This is fanfic for christ's sake! We're already breaking a myriad of copyright laws! FF.net isn't a publishing company, it's a bloody website populated by mostly hysterical fourteen year-old girls! I know most people hate the site for the content, and that does get on my nerves. Take the Harry Potter section for instance. You're hard pressed to found anything good. First you have to comb through the;

1. RR plz! (I'll review if I want to, okay?)
2. It's my first story, be kind. (It's so tempting to put that in summaries, I know, but DON'T.)
3. I'm no good at summaries, just read it. (What the hell? Why should I a fic if I'm not told what it's about? If you can't write summaries, who says your fic is going to be any good?)
4. 'A beautiful American girl joins Hogwarts...' (ahhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh!)
5. HP karaoke! (There is so much of this it makes me want to cry. I was looking through Lord of the Flies fanfic yesterday, and they even had a karaoke story there!)
6. 'A little OOC...' (Why the frack are you posting it then?)
7. 'NO FLAMES!' (If you're preempting this then what does that say about your story, hm?)

So, after that there are what? Three stories left? Two are slash, which isn't my thing, and the last one is probably mine. xD

Oh yeah, what the hell is with people who ask me to update one shot fics? I got a private message from someone yesterday asking me to update Evolution. One, I've only just posted it, give me time to recover! Two, it says it's a one shot, and that it's completed. Doesn't that tell you something?
