- One of these days my internet connection is going to be the death of me. Early this morning when I was uploading a 37MB zip, it crapped out at 97% and I couldn't get it going again for fifteen minutes. This afternoon, it died 96% into my Lie to Me download and when it reconnected, the file had a 'size mismatch' and fucked up. Urgh, I really need to do something about this. I've got an old-but-never-used wireless router that I've never been able to fathom how it works, and I bought a router from ebuyer.com last week, but it wasn't a modem router, so it couldn't work with my AirPort wireless adaptor. >:( Now I've got to send it back but I think they're going to complain because it's been opened. And they don't provide a prepaid returns sticker, so I have to pay the delivery charge. Goddamnit, I'm generally good at computery things, but wireless internet just flummoxes me.
- Life 2x20
- No spoilers, but I still really really love Better Off Ted. ♥
- I love how everyone has opinions on Coldplay. :D It did eventually go on the mix, by the way, here. *pimp*
- I might be a little biased here, but
twistdmentality posted THE BEST HEROES 3X21 PICSPAM EVER. Go loook.
- I haven't been out of the apartment since Monday. Is this bad?
- Life 2x20
- Is it bad that I kind of prefer Jane over Dani?
- So Tidwell is sort of hot - Charlie and Tidwell are an awesome double act.
- Not enough Ted, but what there was was ♥
- Ohhh, that ending. D':

(Why do I get obsessed with shows that have wacky time travel hijinks? It's not just the time travel either. The first season of Heroes moved at an incredibly slow paced compared to real time. Are they actually caught up to our real time? And how is the timeline messing with your fic?
I'm betting that I'm going to the Special Hell. Not sure what level that's at. And, holy crap, I'm so pale that no amount of sunscreen could save my hide.)

(They're supposed to be, like, in 2007 or something aren't they? It's pretty ridiculous; look at the amount of stuff heroeswiki.com reckons happened around March '07. My problems are more of the time travel/possible futures variety, though. I'm trying to set it in the future from Second Coming, and now I have to work out what would and wouldn't still happen.
Special Hell is a whole other breed of Hell, I think, and one where, if my adventures in fandom have taught me anything, you'd always have the company of many like-minded fangirls. So that's something, I guess.)
no subject
(Shit. Really? They really need to catch up because it is ridiculous. And my brain hurts just thinking of you trying to set up you future verse. Time travel while fun is also head explodey.)
no subject
(It's particularly ridiculous when you think about how quickly the younger cast are going to age. They really need to space that shit out.
And my brain hurts just thinking of you trying to set up you future verse.
My brain thanks you for the sympathy. It wouldn't be so bad if Heroes time travel made ANY SENSE AT ALL, but what're you going do?)

(I think Noah has been the greatest example so far of how their slow pace is jarring. Micah sure did some growing up in whatever odd months.
It wouldn't be so bad if Heroes time travel made ANY SENSE AT ALL, but what're you going do?
Fanwank and bullshit your way through?)

(Yeah, if they want to keep him in the show, they're going to have to something about the fact Micah's supposed to be twelve, but Noah's already fourteen. Also, by the time they remember about Molly, Adair will probably be sixteen or something.
Fanwank and bullshit your way through?
It's how I get by in life, baby.)

(You know, Claire is probably the only character that was remembered that was a spawn of another character. Molly, Micah, Matt Jr., and Nathan's other two were promptly forgotten to only occasionally to be brought up. Oh. And Lyle.
Heh. Funny you should mention Monica. She was on Bones last night and by the looks of it is going to be a recurring character. I got all lame and geeky and pointed at the screen.)

Ooh, really? What season is it up to now? I've only ever managed to see S1. And I have a compulsive habit of pointing out when actors from my favourite shows turn up in movies and TV. It's kind of obnoxious.)

Bones is in its forth season. I point people out but I try to be all cool about it and not starting gushing like my fangirly ways want me to. I watch so much television now though that I'm starting to recognize those actors that are constantly popping up to do tv roles. Unfortunately, it ruins some dramatic effect because I get suspicious. I know they'll factor into some kind of twist.)

When I was completely obsessed with Stargate SG-1 basically any American show was bound to star one of the secondary actors. Canadians get everywhere. And I felt the need to point them out every. damn. time.
Also, why the fuck wasn't The Office on this week? Goddamnit, what's up with all these breaks?)

I think they had a three hour series finale for ER. We are suppose to get two episodes next week, 30 Rock, and the premieres of Parks and Recreation and Southland.)
no subject
Urgh, don't talk to me about Southland - I'm trying to download the ripped version of the free pilot from NBC.com, but mediafire is fucking with me.)
no subject
I actually just watched the pilot for Southland.)
no subject
Is it any good? Should I bother beating mediafire into submission?)
no subject
I liked it enough. Didn't wow me or anything but the style of it sets it apart from most. I'm pretty neutral when it comes to cop shows though. It could have pretty spectacular or incredibly crappy and my reaction still would have probably been "eh".)
no subject
Cop shows are pretty much ten a penny, but I've got a soft spot for them since I grew up watching them, Of course, I'm going to be less well-disposed towards it if NBC messes with Life.)
no subject
The only two cop/procedural shows that I really find myself liking is Life and Bones. And they have a nice humor and quirky character balance vs the dead body ratio.)

Well, I don't know how much you want to hope but, yes, I am working on my N/C vid. A couple in fact because I haven't found one I exactly want. I figure practicing with songs I'm not exactly over the moon about will help me familiarize myself with the clips for when I find The Perfect Song.
Also, do you ever need sleep?
I do indeed. Not as much I usually do lately. But I pretty much stay up longer than most normal human beings. On the flip side of that, I sleep for a greater length of time.

Edit: It occurred to me that while in my half-sleep state that while I can perfectly recall what songs I'm talking about that you may not. So, Forget It by Breaking Benjamin and Honest Mistake by The Bravery.
