Pictures! I took 152 pictures, but I'm not going to inflict on you all, so yay!
I got to Vancouver after a nice long ten hour flight that was delayed by two hours because the budget airline we flew with missed their slot and had to wait for a new one. But, you know, that's all you can expect from cheap flights.
Anyway, Vancouver:

The first place we went was the World of Science, but it turned out that was basically just for children. Cool building, though. The sky was so blue that day.

RIGHT? I don't know, I just wanted to include this picture.

This was at Dr Sun Yat-Sen Chinese Garden, where I showed what a city girl I am now, and basically went: omgwildlifeythings!!!

My first Mountie sighting! Well, sort of.

This was in Gastown before I got sunburned. No sunblock, no hat, no shirt. Who could have guessed it?

The view from Canada Place. I looove the mountains, I just took loads of pictures of them for the hell of it.

The Vancouver Art Gallery had a really awesome comic exhibit on, so obviously I had to go (that's my dad in the white t-shirt with black back pack).

The chair in my room. It's Leela from Futurama, right?

Hey, I wish. (Also, one of the souvenir shops I went into had necklaces that said 'I love [name]' and one said 'Nathan'. I almost bought it. Probably would have if I'd been alone.)
On the 12th, we went on a tour of the Vancouver UBC campus, which I'm pretty in love with, although I don't actually want to live there. Everyone says I should live in the halls of residence for the first year, especially since I'd be in a foreign country, but I don't know. The last thing I'll want when I'm homesick, which I imagine is going to be a lot since I'm a homebody, the last thing I'll want is to go back to noisy dorms potentially with a roommate I don't like. They promote it in the brochure by saying that it's like living on your own but still getting the benefits of home, such as being cooked for and having the bathroom cleaned, but I absolutely hate people doing stuff for me; I want to be a free agent. And as far as I'm concerned, having a place which is just mine, which I can decorate as I like and have as much crap in as I like is going to help me settle in far better than living in the halls. But then, this is all purely speculation, considering the A Level clusterfuck, which I probably rant more about later on.
Whatever. Before the tour, we went to the Museum of Anthropology. Totem poles are cool. And big.

The Raven and the First Men

The First Men had, um... Yeah. *slaps wrist* Bad Alex, no.

Totem poles: still cool. Dad again.

Siwash rock. (Blueblue sky again.)
Toronto
We ended up in London for awhile. London, Ontario, that is, when our flight from Vancouver to Toronto got grounded due to storms. There was only one thing for refueling the plane, and one set of stairs. :D The B&B we stayed in was horrible. My door didn't even lock. :|

This dinosaur at the Royal Ontario Museum was named Alex by local kids, so naturally, it's awesome and killed lots of things and was generally one badass motherfucker. Its skull, however, did deform when it ate, though. D:

Oooo, zoooombie reindeer.

Scary grizzly bear skeleton sez HAI GUISE!!!!

The view from the observation deck of the CN Tower.

Oh yeah, I totally walked on the glass floor of the CN Tower. My dad refused to - he's pretty damn scared of heights. I offered to hold his hand, and he squeezed it pretty damn tight, but still no luck.
On the last full day in Toronto, we drove down to Niagara Falls, and although the town is out and out tack, the falls are ~*amazing*~. I even filmed it for a bit. I might upload the videos if anyone's interested.

The Rainbow Bridge into America. I had my passport on me, I totally could have come over and bothered you guys, but I restrained myself. Aren't you glad?
And this is Diefenbaker the beaver.

I got him at a Niagara Falls gift shop. Sadly, he's yet to talk to me, and I looked for wax animals, but I couldn't find any. :(
Well, I think that's it for now. There's more I wanted to say, but I'm jet-lagged and need to go to bed (everything that happened yesterday in Toronto feels like it happened today since I only caught a couple of hours sleep on the plane. What can I say, they were showing Iron Man, I was morally obligated to watch it all the way through again. Yeah). Any mistakes are down to that, and not, despite all evidence to the contrary, because I'm stupid.
