2 - I bought this lovely issue of Empire today. I don't really buy magazines any more because anything in them has already been on the net for weeks and there are always kind hearted souls who scan up the pretty pictures. But, as I caught it out of the corner of my eye while buying rice, I thought hey! there's a magazine with Shatner and Nimoy on the front! I think it's pretty cool that they've managed to reproduce the look closely enough to make me actually think that my local supermarket would be selling hardcore geek magazines. :D I'm already starting to feel Trek!geek misgivings about how they're re-imagining the universe, but guys, the pretty is very pretty.

There's also an article in there about Keanu Reeves's remake of The Day The Earth Stood Still, and just... no. Not every SF film needs to have Keanu in it. Really. It's okay.

3 - We have flying ants in our bathroom. Your moment to say 'ew' is right here. They're either coming from the apartment above us or below us, and my God they're hardy little fuckers; I swear, they'd survive a nuclear war, along with the cockroaches and my grandmother. D:

4 - I've changed my layout in honour of NaNo: boombangbing. I miss my old layout already, but it'll be back after Christmas.

5 - NaNo is still kicking my arse, just so you know.
