help!

Okay, here's a weird question, but has anyone watched Dark Angel? I'm writing a Dark Angel/Heroes crossover, and I can't for the life of me remember if/where the government was set up. Did it stay basically the same, become state-controlled or get abolished completely? There aren't a lot of good resources for DA like there is for, say, Heroes and the Stargates, and I haven't got time to watch the entire series again. :/
